The project was originally initiated by Tasha, Jim and Joe (see below). As three white, middle-aged, middle-class freelancers, all based in London at the time, we felt strongly we shouldn’t be in charge.
As soon as we could get funding to pay people for their time, we brought together a diverse group of people with experience and ideas about social change to lead the project – this is the steering group taking right way up through its early stages.
We’re open to new ways of working and who’s involved evolving in the future. If you’re interested in being part of this somehow, please get in touch.

Jaden Osei-Bonsu, Head of Youth Programmes at the Centre for Knowledge Equity and Saba Shafi, CEO of The Advocacy Academy, were also part of the steering group until early 2023 when they had to step back because of other commitments. We’re really grateful to them for everything they contributed.
